A Great Book Fair Can Never Have Too Many Volunteers!
Hear ye! Hear Ye!The Book Fair is Coming!!!
Enter the Kingdom of Reading and join us at Glenkirk Elementary’s Fall Book Fair from Oct 6th to Oct 10th.
Join us in making this the best book fair ever by helping with any of the following…
* Setting up the Fair: Friday, Oct. 3rd, 1:00-3:30
* Helping at the Fair:
* Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 6th – Oct. 8th, 9:00am – 3:30pm, Helping with preview.
* Wednesday, Oct. 8th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm, helping at Family Night
* Thursday, Oct. 9th, 9:00am – 6:00pm, helping to sell.
* Friday, Oct. 10th, 9:00am – 3:30pm, helping to sell.
* Packing up the Fair – Monday, Oct. 13th, 9:00am – 10:30am (Teacher work day).

Lunch Bunch
Interested in having your child participate in a small counseling group (lunch bunch)? If so, please visit our school counseling webpage and click on Small Group Counseling located under "Resources." There you will find a description of the groups we offer, as well as a form that must be completed and returned to school. We facilitate groups throughout the school year.

Girls on the Run
Regular Registration now closed.
Late Registration remains open until Oct. 10.
First-come, first-served until all 20 spots are filled.
 
 Calling all 3rd thru 5th grade girls!!   Glenkirk has a great program starting this year.  Girls on the run!  Our coaches will be Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. O'Malley and Mrs. Brewer.
 
Girls on the Run is a curriculum based program for girls in grades 3-5. Practices combine an 
innovative and fun curriculum designed exclusively for pre-teen girls addressing specific life skills 
through the use of games, warm-ups and workouts. The 9-week Fall season culminates in a 5K. 
The goal of the program is to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical 
development.
