We are looking for a high school students, or parents interested in teaching an after school class for our Glenkirk students.  We are in need of a chess class, a lego class, drawing and cartooning class or any other skills that could be taught to an elementary student.  Instructors are paid $42 an hour and all classes run from 3:45-4:45 PM once a week.  Please email the SEP Coordinator if you are interested in teaching a spring class.  The class dates would run from Monday, March 5 until Monday, May 8th (8 classes total).  The instructor chooses his/her day of the week for the class.

Spring Session of SEP enrollment is now open!  There are a few other classes in the works, so please  check the registration link over the next few days for other opportunties!

SEP Online Registration: Starts Thursday, January 26th at 3:00 PM (tenative, there are some web issue today) and runs through Wednesday, February 22nd (Email requests or late registration will not be accepted this session…)
Class Confirmations:  As soon as the class has the minimum number of students enrolled, class email confirmations will be sent with registration forms, class dates, and payment information
SEP Payments and Registration Forms Sent to Back to School: Thursday, February 23rd to Friday, March 3rd
SEP Spring Session Classes: Tentative Dates, Monday, March 5 – Monday, May 8
Additional Information:  Classes are on a first come, first serve basis, enrollment is kept low so that students can receive more individual attention at each class.

Yearbooks are going on sale TODAY!  How much do they cost? The cost will be $20 through Feb. 19th. Then, the price will go up to $25. How do I order? All schools will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.  On Wednesday, January 18, elementary schools will dismiss on a half-day schedule for parent/teacher conferences. Glenkirk Elementary dismissal will be at 12:15!  A Teacher Inservice/Workday is scheduled on Monday, January 30 and schools will be closed for all students.  Mark your calendars!
